Invitation to Free Bilingual Intern Programme.
China might not be in a position to pull the world out of the recession, but with the vast opportunities it holds the country is still in an unrivalled position to do business with. As Chancellor George Osborne suggested, during his recent trade-boosting tour in China, British companies could “do more to exploit China’s fast-growing economy”. In the face of eurozone crisis, UK could look to China for business where there is a fertile market for collaboration and partnership. But language and culture differences can cause headaches for British firms, and indeed research shows these have been among the biggest barriers in doing business with China.
Now help is available to reduce the risks and overcome the pitfalls, and to make a real difference.
Benefits of Chinese-speaking interns
You are invited to participate in our Chinese Speaking Intern Programme, which offers you dedicated assistance to your China endeavours, at virtually no cost to you. The programme is an integral part of the students? master course, and so, exempt from the national minimum wage. There is no financial commitment required from the employer’s side. In addition, placement fee will be taken care of by the university.
These Chinese students are studying at Master’s level at one of Britain’s leading university. They are fluent in Chinese and English, and can work for you at different levels. They can offer reassuring advice on the cultural pitfalls that can unseat the unwary. On a different level, they will be able to contribute to developing your China market strategy or improving your operational efficiency dealing with China.
The interns can work for your company for a period of six to twelve weeks, according to your needs and requirements. China Business Solutions will make sure everything goes smoothly for you, from initial interview to final placement.
Track Record of Our Intern Programme
Forth year running, this programme has achieved ever greater success. The profiles of employers that have signed up our programme varied, from SMEs to large multinational corporations, with industries ranging from banking to insurance, from software development to industrial design, from electronics to engineering and clean energy, from medical instruments to logistics & distribution. Past years’ internship portfolios reveal a remarkable breadth of experience and clearly demonstrate the benefits such internships can bring both to employers and students. Most of the interns went on to be offered full-time employment which is testament to the value such interns can hold.
But don’t just take our word for it – previous employers of interns under this programme in past years have given ringing endorsements as to the value and benefit from offering a work placement. For example, one employer was particularly enthusiastic, saying that during the placement, the intern has been “absolutely outstanding”, and “exceeded all our expectation. ”
